City of Houston Council District Reports
District C
For extended solid waste delays to 311 tickets, there’s a New Solid Waste Customer Service contact: 832-394-1453 (Mon–Fri). 311 Ticket Number Required.
District C runoff project forthcoming (timeline TBD).
Residents encouraged to sign up for their respective council district newsletters.
Rain barrel sale announced – $10 per barrel, via District C.
TC Jester Park crossings discussed, including pedestrian cut-through medians paid for by District C
Ella Lee Forrest Drainage Project at 95% design; neighborhood info session requested.
District H
Shred event planned for May 30 (details available via District H).
Virtual town hall planned for June, date TBD.
Budget town hall scheduled for May 16 at 10:00 AM with CM Castillo and Alcorn present.
District A
Amazon Air drone delivery service expected to arrive in Houston later this year. Dist A hosting a Q&A with Amazon April 21, 7pm at 809 Long Point.
Short-Term Rentals: 24-hour hotline for issues related to problematic properties – 832-394-8802. Complaints routed to ARA for investigation.
Motions & Actions
Motion to vote the proposed slate of SN12 Board Members made by (XX) and seconded by Chris O. Motion carried unanimously, NEW BOARD ELECTED.

Motion passed unanimously for a SN 12 Board Member to liaise with the City of Houston Department of Neighborhoods for promotional and communications materials. (Motion by Alicia Nuzzie, 2nd by Ross Drescher).
Discussion held on promoting Super Neighborhood identity via name, QR code, and shared email address. New Secretary
New Business
Anita Ivory introduced as City of Houston Community Liaison supporting SN12 representatives.
Art House Houston presented on efforts to preserve the Garden Oaks Theater. Organization requires $2M toward a $13.1M total project cost. Contact: MaureenM@arthousehtx.com
